DR. ELSIE

FOUNDER/CHIROPRACTOR

B.Hsci/B.AppSci(Chiropractic)/M.HumNut

Dr. Elsie is a chiropractor, nutritionist, and mum with a passion for empowering families to live healthier, happier lives.

Her vision for House of Healing was to create more than just a chiropractic practice... it’s a space where families feel nurtured, supported, and truly seen. Inspired by her own holistic health journey as a child, she developed a deep passion for raising thriving, healthy children and families, naturally.

A self-confessed health nerd, Dr. Elsie completed her Chiropractic studies at RMIT before going on to earn her Master of Human Nutrition at Deakin University, with a special interest in paediatric, pregnancy, and postpartum nutrition. She has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in sacro-occipital technique (SOT), neuro-emotional technique (NET), and pregnancy care, including Webster Certification through the ICPA, as well as a wide variety of paediatric chiropractic courses. She is currently completing her two-year postgraduate Diplomate with the Australian College of Chiropractic Paediatrics (DACCP) while continuing further studies in nutrition.

Her warm, bubbly nature helps families feel instantly at ease, while her commitment to excellence ensures care that is both professional and deeply personal. Whether she’s adjusting a newborn, supporting an expecting mum, or helping a parent manage life’s daily stresses, Dr. Elsie’s purpose is always the same: to honour the incredible ability of the body to heal and thrive when the spine and nervous system are supported.

Outside the practice, you’ll often find her on a volleyball court, soaking up life with her husband and little boy Carter, or at the beach with their two dogs, Indi and Isla. She also loves nothing more than enjoying great food with even better company.

DR. BRITT

CHIROPRACTOR

B.H.Sci.Chiro/M.Clin.Chiro

Dr. Britt is a family, pregnancy, and paediatric chiropractor with a warm, nurturing approach and a deep passion for supporting families through every stage of life. Her chiropractic journey began earlyβ€”growing up in a family that visited the chiropractor together, she remembers the excitement she felt before each appointment. Those early experiences sparked a curiosity that evolved into a calling. By high school, after completing work experience with a local chiropractor, her path was clear.

Driven by her love of holistic health and her desire to help others thrive, she has dedicated her career to caring for women, parents, and children. She is particularly passionate about supporting mums through pregnancy, the postpartum season, and the early years of family lifeβ€”helping parents feel confident, empowered, and deeply supported as they navigate these transformational stages.

Britt has completed extensive postgraduate training in pregnancy and postpartum care, including specialised studies in caring for pregnant women, supporting pelvic balance, and working with newborns and young children. Her additional training complements her natural passion in this area, allowing her to provide gentle, evidence-informed, and highly individualised care for every family member.

Her care style is holistic and family-centred, grounded in the belief that when the spine and nervous system are supported, families can truly thrive. She feels deeply honoured to walk alongside familiesβ€”from prenatal care and newborn checks to developmental milestones and beyond. Watching families grow in health, confidence, and connection is one of the greatest joys of her role.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Britt is a devoted mum to Archer and Isla and wife to Steve. You’ll often find them out walking with their energetic Labrador, Winston, coffee in hand, or playing at their local park. Britt also loves her solo pilates classes, leisurely op-shop treasure hunts, and soaking up the simple joys of family life.

She looks forward to welcoming you into the House of Healing family and supporting your health with her gentle, compassionate, and holistic approach.

Our Origin Story

House of Healing was founded with the intention of changing lives.

Funded in part from an inheritance left by our founder Dr. Elsie’s late mother Sarah who sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2022. Sarah had a passion for all things adventure, activity and the outdoors as well as a love for creativity displayed by her affinity for art and music (the cello). There are sentiments to Sarah throughout this space, she truly shaped the way in which we cherish our health and this life.
